The Harborough Mail last month reported that a plan has been submitted to build 16 new houses in Market Harborough.
The plan suggests that a housing mix of 6 three-bedroom homes, 7 four-bedroom homes, and 3 two-bedroom affordable homes will be built. The properties will comprise 11 bungalows and 5 split-level homes.
The homes will be built on farmland near Tymecrosse Gardens, in the north of the town. Their close proximity to Robert Smyth Academy would make them ideal for families with secondary age children, and will also be in the perfect location for those looking to commute to Leicester by car, or London by train.
The plan for the 16 new houses is currently an outline application, Harborough Council’s planning departments are still considering the layout, scale and means of access. The applicant is agricultural firm Parkers of Leicester Ltd.
