Summer is here once again and our picturesque town is beginning to fill with colour.

In preparation for the annual East Midlands in Bloom competition, Market Harborough’s in Bloom volunteers have been busy decorating the town centre. With support from local sponsors like ourselves, the volunteers are making a real impact on the town’s streets.

If you’ve walked by or been into our offices recently, you will have noticed four colour-filled hanging baskets around our entrance. We have made an effort to support the support the Market Harborough in Bloom volunteers for the past three years because we feel that they make a positive difference to the town.

It’s not just our hanging baskets that are a welcome addition to the town. If you haven’t yet seen it yet a new floral display is at the floral bell tower behind the Old Grammar School. It features the old bell pulleys from St. Dionysius Church.

“Market Harborough is a great town all year round but the floral displays really take things up a gear,” he comments. “The town centre, railway station, parks and roundabouts look really lovely and we salute the work of the volunteers at Market Harborough in Bloom who are instrumental in making all these things happen. We are delighted to do our bit by sponsoring the hanging baskets outside our offices.”
