Last week at Naylors Estate Agents we were very sad to hear about the passing of a long-term friend of the company. Mark Turner from Market Harborough based MT Webs looked after all of our IT support. Mark was not only knowledgeable but also a warm and gentle person to work with over the years.Mark_Turner

Always a helping hand

We like to think that we know about a few subjects, but the ever-growing complexity of database integration, networking and anti-virus software were never our strong points.

Mark was always there at the end of the phone or ready to pop over to the office to help us outpatient and helpful to our many requests for assistance.

Aside from his expertise in IT matters, he was also a strong supporter of the local scout movement – and if you have children involved in cubs or scouts in Market Harborough, you may well have met him in that capacity. He would regularly be present at award ceremonies either handing out badges or simply to congratulate the scouts.

Mark had been a District Chair of the Scout Association and was until his recent illness was on the committee of the 1st Market Harborough Scout Group.

Famously, the scout’s motto is ‘be prepared’ and in business, Mark was always prepared to help his customers and to go the extra mile. Ready to cope with emergencies when required, but always doing his homework to prevent those problems from occurring in the first place.

All of the staff at Naylors would like to extend our sympathy to Mark’s family at his sudden and unexpected passing. He will sadly be missed by the team here and, undoubtedly his customers around the town.
