Celebrating cycling and promoting health is a big part of Market Harborough’s inaugural Festival of Cycling which is set to make its debut later next month.  The event brings together members of the local community on Sunday 29th March, in an effort to raise money for the Harborough-based safe cycle campaign group ‘Adam Smile’.

Race Harborough

Masterminded by the Race Harborough group of previous events including Harborough Triathlon and Santa Fun Run, this family-friendly event will consist of two cycle courses; a 50km (29.6-mile) course and a 100km (59.5-mile) route. Both routes start and finish in Market Harborough and according to Amy Handford, a co-organiser, the journey around the surrounding countryside will be a “fun” day out for all involved.

It’s another great event in the Market Harborough area for all ages.
